I started college as a film production major before changing course for marketing. Here's some of the work I have to show for those first few years of my studies.

Reverie
This experimental student film was a product of the pandemic and an opportunity to create something beautiful with limited resources. As the project's lighting designer, director of photography, and editor, I was inspired by George Lucas's short film Herbie (1966) to abstract familiar objects by tinkering with depth of field and by Pixar's Ratatouille (2007) to illustrate emotion with swirling shapes and colors.
This Is A Test
As my first college film project, This Is A Test was my playground. I wrote and storyboarded it, shot it on film with a Bolex camera, recorded the audio, and, after COVID sent us home in March 2020, I edited it all together on my laptop... which I'm pretty sure almost burst into flames from running Premiere for so long.

Fantastic Four Logo
Inspired by Fantastic Four comics from the '60s, this was animated entirely by hand in Procreate.
Rocket Loop
This animation is a perfect loop that starts and ends with the same simple frame provided by my professor.
Ball Bounce
I doodled a clown during class on the day we started our ball bounce assignment. A few dozen sheets of paper later, he finally got his nose back.
Walk Cycle
The assignment: Use Adobe Animate to animate my very first walk cycle. The result: an adorable teddy bear (who's a tad late for a meeting).
